Celebrate Independence Day

I am playing along with the  CAS-ual Fridays challenge: Over the Edge.
July_4th_Card

This card features a fun dimensional star die from Impress Rubber Stamps and is typically used for Christmas themed stars.  However, I think this star is perfect on an Independence Day card.  If you are here in the United States, have a wonderful 4th! Thanks for stopping by! xo- Tyra

Home…

I’m playing along with the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge this week with the following card:

Home_IS_Your_STory

I’m a fan of  the Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder I used to create the pattern background.  I also love the homes and the sentiment from the gone, but not forgotten, Market Street Stamps.  I have to agree with the sentiment.   I think of the home where I grew up, my first home I purchased with my husband, and the home we brought our babies to.   If you are fortunate, the stories created with the people you call family can really make a house a home.  Thanks for stopping by! xo- Tyra

Across The Miles

Here is another card I created as inspired by CASE Study Challenge #146

Sending_Smiles

The Globe is one of  Lifestyle Crafts’ new Detailz Dies.  The Map stamp used for both the card background globe is from Flourishes.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  Together I believe these elements all work together well.  Take care and thanks for stopping by! xo– Tyra

Birthday Zest!

Thanks for stopping by! I realized that I loved doing card challenges so much, that I decided to post on a new personal blog, “Just Tyra.” Today I participated in The Play Date Cafe’s challenge #187.

Happy_Birthday_Card

I used Mint Motif’s “What A Card” set to create the background.  The flower is from Wplus9’s “Hope Seed co.” set.  The transparency is from a $1 pack of transparencies! I layered leaves and stems behind the flower.  Thanks for stopping by! — xo Tyra
