Rise

I’m playing along with Curtain Call’s Feeling Nautical Challenge:

ccc_template_july15_feelingnautical

The Paper Crafts July Gallery Challenge, also featuring a nautical theme and Simon Says Stamp’s “By The Sea” Challenge

I created the following:

rise_card_nautical

I believe the sentiment complements the different card elements (e.g. sea background, anchor, compass) well.   This sentiment is actually a verse I have referred to time and time again when life has taken unexpected twists and turns.

I took a chance using a muted color palette on this card, but I like the result.  That’s all for now! Take care and thanks so much for stopping by! xo- Tyra 😉

Materials: Flourishes background stamp, Silhouette anchor die, studio calico card stock.

  4. This is really lovely and totally caught my eye in the challenge gallery. The yellow anchor really pops against that fabulous map, and I love how you’ve wrapped the twine around it. Thanks for joining us for the first Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!
