My dear crafty friend Keren tagged me for a Creative Blog Hop. I am soo honored! Keren creates such fabulous cards! We chat here and there and always try to support each other. In fact, Keren was the first to reach out to me with a note of encouragement!
Check out some of Keren’s fabulousness:
And by the way, I adore how Keren’s name is spelled with two e’s. Please please visit her blog when you have a chance!
Q: What creative projects are you currently working on?
A: Oh my goodness. As of now, I am on four Design Teams this season, so I’m working on a lot of exciting project work. My biggest play days are Fridays and Saturdays, after work is done, and the kids are tucked in. I just love it! I am also work on on converting my card class to a .pdf and redesigning my site craftswag.com.
Q: What inspires your designs?
A: My designs are mostly inspired by emotions, feelings and music! One of favorite cards was this one inspired by the song “Overjoyed.”
Q: What method / process (if applicable) do you apply to each of your creative projects, and how long does each project take to complete?
A: Good question! I do actually have a process and it’s explained in a little card class I recently created. In a nutshell, I use this method to “organize” my inspiration and focus my design. I would say I could create a card in 10-60 minutes using this method.
Q: If you had to describe your ‘signature’ style, what would it be?
I love clean and simple layouts and cards. I’m simply drawn to this style and I can’t really explain why.
Q: What are 3 crafting products/tools you can’t live without?
A: I would say my bone folder for card making, my Memento Black Inks (Tuxedo Black regular and luxe, Versafine) for crisp stamping and I’m gonna give a shout out to Dab’N Stic glue! this adhesive is amazing! I had to buy a ton of it for my kids and I bought an extra bottle for myself!
Now time to choose a designer! I’m going to choose Wendy Morris – Her blog, Life. Paper & Soul. is absolutely fabulous. The End. I would love to hear her answers to some of these questions. I will update this blog post (hopefully) if Wendy has time to share!
I loved this peek into the inner workings of your creativity! Your crafty new you can use is a brilliant idea today too! x
