I’m sure many you many have noticed a few months ago I started using the Logo above. I am so happy with how the this logo turned out and I have Angelica Suarez of AngSuarez Creative to thank for creating it. Angelica knew exactly what I was looking for. Visit her site, if you have a moment. She is a creative force and has a lot to offer fellow creatives. She not only offers design services, but she shares her life, her faith, her story.
Hi! I wanted to drop in with a sneak peek of what I have been up to:
- Check out my series “Just Add Ink” at The Sweet Stamp Shop where today I create a scene using a little ink and patterned paper.
- I got a chance to create a scrapbook page using a sketch from PaperHaus. It was so fun to play on a larger area of paper!
- Finally, check out my post over on the SEI Blog where I used an everyday item — a grocery bag — as inspiration. There is a linky open to share your own creative inspiration!
I’ve been a little under the weather this week, so I’m looking forward to using the weekend to rest and recharge. I hope to post the rest of my 30 Days of Lists next week and share more of my creative journey. Take care and have a wonderful weekend! xo- Tyra 😉
Hi I’m checking in to share with you a little bit of awesome:
First, I was nominated for a Liebster Blog Award by the very talented Mayuri of the blog Candles In The Garden. Thank you so very much Mayuri! The Liebster Blog Award rules vary but are usually given to favorite blogs or bloggers with 200 followers or less. In turn, I can give this award to five other bloggers who inspire me. There are so many who inspire me, but for now, I will focus on a few. They are:
So to all of you — you truly rock 🙂
Check out my first post with PaperHaus Magazine. I got into the spirit of the season of giving and gratitude, creating tags perfect for host/hostess gifts. Check out one of the gift tags I created:
Check out the full post here.
I created a fun birthday card featured in the October edition of Life. Paper. Scrapbook. Here is a direct link to the October Issue.
Last, but not least, I was published in the November/December issue of Paper Crafts Magazine. Paper Crafts is offering a sneak peek here.
Whew! That’s all for now. I hear the kids and the husband calling my name, so I better go. Take care and have a wonderful weekend! xo- Tyra
How was your weekend? I spent time cheering on my favorite college team on a brisk almost fall day. Can you guess what stadium this is?
I also wanted to share a new post for my “Just Add Ink” feature over at the Sweet Stamp Shop: Big Pattern Small Scale. Please check it out if you have time! Here is a sneak of the card I created for the post:
Take care and thanks for stopping by! xo, Tyra
Hi I’m back with more happy news from PaperHaus:
Please see the announcement here. I am over the moon! I apologize for being late in sharing this with you, but better late the never (Really I’m still adjusting to the start of school for my kiddos). I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone just a little and working with a very talented bunch.
So, if you have followed my blog over the past few weeks, I have had a ton of happy news and I’m walking around in a bit of shock and disbelief! I keep checking my email to make sure I wasn’t being spammed with all of this great design team news. I find that its difficult to explain my design team news to my (not crafty) family and friends, so I’m always happy to share this news with my paper crafting friends.
Take care and thanks for stopping by! xo – Tyra
Happy Friday! I hope you are gearing up for a great weekend. A great weekend for me will include a little football, happy kids (stuffed with treats and kissed with sunshine) and a few items crossed off of the to-do list. Before we get to the weekend, I wanted to share that I am joining the SEI 2014 Design Team as a Challenge Coordinator!! I am excited and I hope you come along for the ride!
Please visit the beautiful blogs of the very talented ladies listed below! Until next time, xo Tyra 🙂
