How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday! I’m popping in to share a quick technique for creating clean and simple cards similar to this one I created as featured on Blitsy’s Blog this week:
Check out the video HERE. While you’re there, please comment and let me know what you think? This card comes together so quickly, especially with the roller stamp I discovered from Plus. Take care and thanks so much for stopping by! xo, Tyra

This weekend I’m on the Clique Kits Blog, sharing my love of all the different types of adhesives available for paper crafting! Here is sneak at one of my projects:
Interestingly enough I used three different types of adhesive to create this card (adhesive to the max!):
- My Scotch ATG Tape Glider Adhesive Applicator worked perfectly for adhering the blue polka dot panel to the card base
- Tombow’s 3D Foam Tabs popped out the two smaller paper panels
- Inkssentials Glossy Accents for the sequins!
- Find pretty paper kits at Clique Kits (TYRA10 gets you 10%)
- Find all the adhesive at Blitsy. (You can use Big Box Competitor Discounts, yeah the 40% off ones)
AAAND the full reveal can be found here!
Today I’m over on Craftwell’s Blog Today sharing a few sparkly cards! Take a look!
Head on over to Craftwell, for the full reveal and tutorial. Leave a shout out, pretty please? Cheers! Tyra
Hello crafty friends? How are you? I am doing well. The husband and I are balancing work outside of the home with helping a pair of kindergarteners read, enjoying our little preschooler expand his vocabulary by leaps and bounds and taking every single chance we can to grill outside when the weather is nice (hugs to you, Spring).
I realize my posts have been infrequent and I apologize. But I have been super busy busting out (yes I said busting out) designs with some of the fabulous crafty goodness I have been fortunate to get my hands on.
Today I want to share some of the goodness I created featuring Chickaniddy’s Twirly Girly, Date Night and a little bit of Jolly Good. Those names tho’ (I need to ask my sister if I’m using 2015 slang appropriately.) Chickaniddy’s collection names are just fabulous! Here is what I have designed along with a sneak photo:

Hello It’s Tyra and today I’m playing along with the latest CASology challenge where the cue card for this week is: EAT
I’m sharing this sweet and simple card I created using the “Take Out” set from the Sweet Stamp Shop:
And here is the card I created:
Since moving back to the midwest, I’m delighted that I can now enjoy a few (truly Americanized) take out restaurants! My favorites are beef and broccoli, shrimp with veggies and rice, rice rice. And did I mention rice? Speaking of rice, I wonder why I have yet to invest in a rice cooker? There are so many textures, flavors and variety of rice! If anyone has a rice cooker, please leave a comment with your recommendation – please?
Sorry for the rambling, back to the CASology challenge. It’s so nice to play along with card challenges. There’s such a wonderful community cultivated on the various challenge sites. One last thing about CASology – The design team provide tips called “Design Defined.” When I started to take up an interest in card making, these tips proved to be so valuable to me. I love to see the new tips posted with each challenge! This to me is what set this talented team a part from many others!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! xo, Tyra
Updated December 3rd to add:
YAY! This Card was recognized!
Thank you, CASology!
