My Answer

Well, when I think of October, I think of rich colors, textures and warmth : ) . I hope you see this come through in the cards I created using Masquerade Ball!

I used a teeny tiny bit of paper from Septmeber’s Kit for this last card! I hope you don’t mind 🙂

A “Cut” Above The Rest, featuring Sweet Stamp Shop

Hey Crafty friends, today I want to share a few ways I use my metal nested dies to make a statement. I’m featuring Sweet Stamp Shop’s Enjoy Calligraphy set — it’s truly a go-to set when you need to create quick and easy cards: The quotes are in so dreamy, I used one of my dies from a “nested” set to crop out a cloud scene:

Super Fast and easy! Drawing off of the inspiration of this quote, I use a metal balloon die to create the same impact in a slightly different way:

Have you noticed a theme here? I used the quote as a source of inspiration for using the cloud paper and the balloon die.

A little more Awesome News….And a release

Hey There,

I’ve been gone a little while, enjoying college football, which included two trips to Notre Dame, so my blog has been a little quiet while I enjoyed the company of friends, fall and football.

Solid Gold Love and SSS Anything Goes! Challenge

Honor Society Challenge…Wild and Free

Hello It’s Tyra and today I will share some of what I made with my latest Clique Kits Kit Haul . The theme is “Wild and Free” and so I thought I would create a few cards and add in a few feathers here and there. Here goes!

For you card makers out there, this kit is packed with a ton of goodness to create cards to your heart’s desire. Even the packaging is beautiful. I created the middle feather from packaging used for the wood hearts.

In the second card I reused the gold polka dot washi tape from some of the embellishment packaging for my card.

Hey crafty people! Today I’m playing along with the latest Runway Inspired Challenge. Here is the challenge picture:

And here is my take on that cute outfit:

I decided to create a “Happy Birthday card, using card stock from Allison Kreft for the base, added a layer of vellum with a few holes punched here and there, and finally letters from Pinkfresh studio. I also emphasized lines (stripes) in this card, similar to the seam lines in the jacket that flow into the crease lines in the pants. And yes, I’m still using sequins (sequins are still a little trendy, right?).

Honor Society Challenge…July

Hello It’s Tyra and today I’m participating in the Clique Kits Honor Society July Blog Share! I enjoyed playing with the beautiful Allison Kreft papers and I managed to make a few more layouts and cards. Let’s get to the pictures, shall we?

I did something a little different with this first layout. I had a leather bound journal sitting around with several clear picture pockets. I created this journal entry and added a few embellishments. I love the way it looks and I will probably continue to journal this way when I have the chance.
